6th Grade Assistant Principal
Amber Manganelli
My career in education began after graduating from Elon University in 1999 with a degree in Middle Grades education, focusing on social studies and math. I received my master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Lesley University in 2005 and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State in 2021. I have had the honor of working in Fulton County Schools for over 20 years, this is my 6th year at Northwestern.
I currently live in the Crabapple community with my husband, Jim, and our two children. Eva is 18 and attends a vocational academy and my son, Patrick is an 8th grader here at Northwestern. In my spare time I enjoy reading and going to concerts with my family.
I believe strongly that all students can learn, but at different rates and in different ways. If given the right tools, any student can build a solid foundation for success. I am excited to engage and partner with families, teachers and students, and to provide the support and guidance needed to meet goals for success and achievement.
