Good afternoon, Northwestern Families!
I am thrilled and deeply honored to embark on this incredible journey of serving the Northwestern community as your new principal! For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working as an assistant principal at FCS Innovation Academy, where I’ve led outreach efforts and supported the school’s growth and development. Prior to that, I proudly served as an assistant principal at Hopewell Middle School for four years. Earlier in my career, I had the joy of teaching and coaching in the Johns Creek and Chattahoochee communities, where I taught Special Education and Social Studies and served as the head basketball coach at Chattahoochee High School for six years. This new opportunity to join Northwestern fills me with excitement and gratitude. I want to thank Dr. Crumbley for entrusting me with the chance to work alongside our exceptional students, staff, and families. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll begin my transition from FCS Innovation Academy to Northwestern, with my official start date set for Thursday, February 6th. Until then, I’ll be collaborating with the Northwestern administrative team and our PTO and SGC to organize a time for us to connect through a community meet and greet. I am energized by the possibilities that lay ahead and the chance to contribute to the amazing work happening here at Northwestern. The students, staff, and community have already been so welcoming - I can’t wait to meet everyone and join this amazing team!
Go Wildcats! Mr. Quraishy
